Metropolitan State University of Denver King Center

855 Lawrence Way Denver, CO 80204 (see map and get directions below)

Competitive Category

  • Please see the Repertoire and Prizes section below for required pieces for competitive entrants.

Non-competitive Category

  • Students may choose to enter in the non-competitive category, which allows them to play repertoire of their choice and receive feedback from judges.

Duet Category
  • Each age category is also open to duet entries with repertoire of choice. The entry fee for duos is waived if at least one performer is entered as a soloist.
  • Both duet members must be current CFA members.

  • Pianists will be provided for each age group at no additional charge to students. Students will have the opportunity to rehearse in a group with the pianists briefly on the day of the competition. If a student wishes to rehearse with a competition pianist before the competition, it is his or her responsibility to contact the pianist, schedule rehearsals, and pay for these rehearsals accordingly.

Please check back soon for more information about pianists.
